A family affair

While the La Rochelle Boat Show is in full swing, we are hearing sailing stories of current Lagoon owners, projects of future owners and the dreams of others’ next cruising vacation. Behind every boat purchase and more particularly concerning a catamaran, there is a cruising project, a life project. There are countless videos showing this life with happy families, breathtaking landscapes and warmwater, and of course, their interest and quality vary a lot.
Here is really nice one: Valerie Tommey, a former boat show hostess in the United States, fell in love with Lagoon catamarans. She and her family went for a 3 week cruise between Saint-Marteen, Saint-Barth and Saint-John. Jim, Valerie’s husband, mounted this video about this trip on their Lagoon 450 called Shermans Lagoon named after the eponymous comics he is drawing for.
