Whitsunday Dreaming left France in October 2015, bound for her new adopted land: Australia. She first visited Sydney and then headed for her final destination for New Year 2016, the magnificent Whitsunday islands.
This catamaran delights her owners and guests who relish sailing on short or long voyages exploring these islands. Her range and reliability make it possible to enjoy long cruises. Her shallow draft makes it possible to approach close to the beaches and coastlines.
Most of the time, guests opt for a stay of 5 or 7 nights on board and all enjoy the magnificent Whitehaven Beach, ranked in the top 10 of the world’s most beautiful beaches, and the superb spirals of Hill Inlet, which are among the planet’s three most photographed views.
The seabed is also spectacular! Many holidaymakers explore the underwater wildlife for hours without wearying of it. The best way to explore the various islands and enjoy the maximum number of viewpoints is to visit them by boat.
The Lagoon 40 MY is the only motor catamaran in the islands. We wish her well settling in with her new family.
Named “Whitsunday Dreaming” following a competition organised by her owners, the catamaran’s naming ceremony was held a few days ago, in accordance with Australian custom and practice.
